I've started work on a midi controller for the little JT4000m synth... it's all a bit chaotic on the breadboard but it's mostly working with only a few bugs to iron out. Will post more soon...

Code is here.
I know you can just use your phone, but sometimes I like to watch videos, and this little timer thing does the job without being too distracting.
What is it?
If you're wondering why your town is lacking balding bearded men this weekend, it's because we're at Superbooth in Berlin. After fighting through my fellow clones, so far I would say, my favourite synth was the Udo super 6 and the Nord stage compact 4. I can also report that massive trousers are also very much back in style, as are green bomber jackets.
I've managed to sit down and find some time to update the graphics for the JT Mini editor:
I've made another free online midi editor, this time for the Behringer UB-1 micro synth. My UB-1 was meant to have been delivered back in January, but it's unfortunately been delayed for months now. Anyway, I used the manual to get all of the MIDI CC data, and remapped it all from my original JT4000m editor. It's currently untested, but when my unit arrives, I'll confirm it's correctly working.
Hey All, I've just finished making my JT4000M Programmer which is available for free online. Hopefully it should make creating new sounds on the thing a little bit more fun than going through the menus!
It's been tested running on Chrome and Android, hopefully it should work on most other platforms (although Safari doesn't support MIDI I believe).
If you create a sound you want to save, just press down on the 'Select' pot, and it'll overwrite the currently selected sound.
Try it here
Cheers!
I'm currently taking part in a 6-week Unity Bootcamp. Here's a quick game I made for week 3. It was only made in a few hours so the UI is only logged to console, there's no audio, particle effects, or scene transitions. Perhaps in the future I can find time to add these.
I finally got my Canal boat simulator VR weekend project into a showable state. It's still very rough, but the boat physics are mostly ok, although the steering could probably be further refined. But as a proof of concept, I'm pretty happy...
Based on the Udemy course 'Learn Unity Games Engine & C# By Creating A VR Space Shooter'
I've refined the steering of the barge, as well as adding some more models to the scene. The boat now controls pretty well, apart from the steering could be a little slower.
This weekend I started making a VR canalboat simulator. It's very rough, but the mechanics of the boat are kind of there, although it needs lots of refinement. I'll hopefully post a video when there's a little bit more to show.
